I have a new version of cpath.exe running. It now works on Dos versions from
2.00 on. The problem was that Dos versions below 3.30 don't always use the
environment they are supposed to use (in my opinion). They have another data
space besides the environment in which the PATH is also located. This PATH is
used as search PATH. Furthermore the first called COMMAND.COM hasn't got an
environment at all, but possible children of it do have one. So now I had to
look in the Dos memory map to find the environment Dos uses when it looks for
the PATH. That's all!
Well it was a lot of work because I couldn't find any documantation about this.
Greetings from Holland,
Cor.
